About the Speaker:
George is Leidar’s Managing Partner in Dubai. Working in conjunction with the agency’s senior consultants, he provides expert advice to clients in the Middle East across a number of areas including communications and social media strategy development, thought leadership, advocacy, sustainability, content creation, media training, crisis preparedness, issues management and media relations.
At Leidar, George has brought to market some of the UAE’s most talked-about tech startups including Okadoc, Fodel, Repeat, Ziina etc. He is a regular columnist for Gulf News on contributing analysis and opinion editorials on trends and developments in the region’s PR, social media and marketing sectors. Prior to joining Leidar, George was Head of PR, Corporate Communications and Social Media for Dubai-headquartered diversified conglomerate Al-Futtaim. During his 26 year-long career in PR, he has also worked for Abu Dhabi’s sovereign wealth fund Mubadala, international PR agency Golin and regional PR agency Action Global Communications.
