The Cloud Report 2017 | Navigating the Cloud as a Dubai Startup
The Cloud Report 2017 aims to provide an in-depth view of cloud computing adoption in the Dubai start up sector, and is based on a survey conducted by Thomson Reuters of over 100 start-up founders and decision-makers in Dubai. The report explores the cloud services and deployment models that are being used by peers, as well as the drivers, barriers and other factors that are influencing decision-making around cloud implementation in this market, with the objective of providing insights for startups on the best practices around setting up their business in the cloud.
Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA) and Thomson Reuters, with support from the Dubai Islamic Economy Development Centre (DIEDC) released the ‘Digital Islamic Economy Report’ in 2015, in collaboration with DinarStandard.
The report outlines the importance of Muslim consumers worldwide to the global digital economy and focuses on new and more specialized areas of Digital Islamic Consumer Services.
Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA) in collaboration with Google MENA identified the need to better understand the emerging technology business (SMEs and Startups) in the MENA region. The primary focus of the study was on the following countries: UAE, KSA, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon and Morocco.
