Hans is a member of the Dtec Ventures Investment Committee and has 20+ years senior management experience. He is passionate about leading multicultural multidisciplinary startup and corporate teams to peak performance creating entrepreneurial eco systems that can support the individual to reach for their dream of creating a purpose for themselves.
Jonathan Moore: Investment Manager of Dtec
Jonathan was Strategic Manager at Careem before joining Dtec. Jonathan is VC Investor with an MSc in Data Science and professional experience across Corporate Strategy, Equity Investing, and Economics. His specialties are Strategy, Equity Research, Statistical Modelling and Data Analysis CFA Level 3 candidate and IMC Level 4 holder.
Pelin Gonul Sahin: Director of Startupbootcamp Smart City Dubai
Pelin leads the Dubai Smart City Accelerator as the Director. The acceleration program focus on business development and gaining access to the Middle East Market. Pelin supports and guides startups with knowledge and skills around leadership, investments, business development, marketing, legal and much more.
Dr. Konstantin Tsanis: Chartered FCSI, Business Development Manager, Accelerate SME of Thomson Reuters
Konstantin is Middle East and Africa Financial Markets Specialist, focusing on the growth of the corporate incubator within Thomson Reuters, with a particular focus in Start Ups and SMEs across MENA. His specialties are Consultative Sales & Business Development (incl. C-level relationship building), Complete Sales Lifecycle Management, Strategic Planning and Implementation, Project Management, Research Management, Qualitative & Quantitative Analysis, Organizational Training and Development, Use of technology for global collaboration and Start up: founding and scaling up.
Samer Habbal: Head of Emerging Business & Content, Middle East & North Africa at Thomson Reuters
Samer has diverse experience in the MENA region, ranging across multiple disciplines: Fintech Governance Risk and Compliance, Tax and Legal solutions. Samer has managed a large operation with sizable P&L, driving the achievement of market share, market penetration, and growth. He has led multiple teams specializing in sales, customer management, and after sales support. As a senior member of the MENA operation, Samer has also represented Thomson Reuters on many occasions, expanding the visibility of organization’s presence and developing C-level relationships.
Rana Abu Aish: Business Coach & entrepreneurship trainer
Rana is a certified trainer, specialized in entrepreneurship and business field. Rana specializes in training, mentorship and coaching. She gained TOT certificate in entrepreneurship and Retail from Mercuria Schoolin Finland (Jan 2017), Mini MBA from Change Zone in Amman in 2016.
Zohare Haider: Strategic leader in Digital, Technology and Marketing
Zohare is a CIM certified digital marketing strategy specialist. He is a Founding Director of Digital Street , Founder and CEO of foona Review. Zohare has worked as the Head of Digital at British council and played role on strategic and operational aspects of work across the region, including business transformation, products, technology, marketing and governance of digital ecosystem through direct teams in 7 countries. He played IT consulting role including implementation of Information Security Management System (ISMS)and National Electronic Security Authority [NESA] – Information Assurance (IA) Standard.
Naiyarah Hussain: Developer Experience Leader, UAE at IBM
Naiyarah develops applications, services & demos using IBM Cloud, Watson, Internet of Things, Data Science, Microservices & Blockchain. Naiyarah provides technical mentorship to help all developers (within startups, enterprise, open source or education) build their applications on IBM Cloud and work with AI, IoT, Data Science, Blockchain & DevOps.
